How does Reshape Coaching work?

  • After learning about you and your activity level, I will set specific values that will represent the level of daily intake of each nutrient your individual body needs in order to reach your weight goal.
    • Generally weight is tough to manage because of the nutrients (fats, proteins etc.) within the food. If you focus on nutrients instead of focusing on eating boring foods, weight management becomes that much easier and successful.
  • You will be able to eat what you want as long as you do not exceed you maximum nutrient intake. Don't worry, these levels will not be extremely low and we will strive for a healthy pace of 1-2lbs per week.
  • Once you have received your personalized nutrient values, you will have to track everything you intake with the exception of water. The app I suggest for tracking is very easy to use and has a huge database for food. (Disclaimer: This program depends on persistently and accurately tracking your food.)
    • Tracking your food will allow you to know where you are in relation to your daily nutrient goal. Over the course of the week, staying within your nutrient goals will add up and ultimately allow your body to change in weight.
  • Every two weeks, we will check in with each other, evaluating if the nutrient levels are working for you and if we need to make changes.
  • It's that simple. You don't have a specific diet of specific foods; it is all a matter of knowing your nutrient levels.
