I will keep a running list of some of the tips I have found helpful personally or has been proven to maximize the success of your diet.
Drinking an ample amount of water is always your first step. Rule of thumb is at least 8 glasses of water daily. This helps to keep your body hydrated and keeps your metabolism active.
I suggest replacing drinks such as sodas and juices with water as much as possible, this takes 200-300 calories per drink down to zero calories. Often I use water enhancers such as crystal light. I have found this helpful because instead of drinking 300 calorie drinks, I could allocate that 300 calories to food or small snacks.
Take a daily multivitamin, a multivitamin seems to be one of those things people tend to forget about or believe not to be important. Keeping your vitamin levels up to par can be very crucial to helping you feel and look healthy.
To suppress the need to snack, I suggest eating things that do not have many calories and fats, such as rice cakes, yogurts, granola etc.
I suggest a food scale to get the most accurate serving size you are consuming. There are very affordable and can be purchased at your local Walmart or Target.
Along with the food scale, reading the nutrition label on the foods you eat will give you a good idea of what portion your intake is as well.

This week I am on a family trip to the mountains. Between boredom and lack of cell phone signal here, I decided to make my program a bit more professional. So I have spent the week creating this website for you guys, and I hope it turns out great and allows me to help more of you.
